These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to WebFixer.dev and our free website tools (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services

We provide automated SEO audits, DNS lookups, guides, and related utilities on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn without notice. Free tiers may include rate limits, queueing, or caps to protect infrastructure.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. Where we offer accounts in future, additional terms may apply.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights;
• Submit URLs, domains, or queries you are not authorised to test, scan, or resolve;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access non-public areas;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or bulk-call the API or Site in a way that impairs service for others;
• Upload malware, spam, or content that is defamatory, harassing, or harmful;
• Misrepresent affiliation with WebFixer or Google.

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe you violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Services or third parties.

4. Your content and URLs

You retain ownership of content you own on sites you audit. You grant us a limited licence to fetch, process, and display technical results necessary to provide the Services to you. You are responsible for ensuring audits and DNS queries comply with applicable law and third-party terms.

5. Intellectual property

The WebFixer name, branding, Site design, and original tool output formatting are owned by us or our licensors. You may share audit reports for legitimate business purposes, but you may not resell the Services or copy our Site to create a competing service without permission.

6. Third-party services, advertising, and links

The Services may reference or link to third parties (including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google advertising services such as AdSense used in operating our Site). We are not responsible for third-party sites, products, or policies.

Advertisements displayed on the Site are provided by third parties. Any transaction or relationship you enter into with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser. WebFixer does not endorse advertised products or services unless we state otherwise in writing.

7. Disclaimers

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or search rankings, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Services, URLs you submit without authority, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, including use of Google Analytics, Google advertising (AdSense), and Google Search Console in operating WebFixer.dev.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms. The updated “Last updated” date will indicate when changes take effect. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in the UK/EEA may also have mandatory protections in their country of residence.
