This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of WebFixer.dev (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data when you visit the website or use our free SEO audit, DNS lookup, and related services (the “Services”). For cookies specifically, see our Cookie Policy.
WebFixer.dev provides free website diagnostic tools. The data controller for personal data described here is the operator of WebFixer.dev. Contact details are available on our contact page.
We do not require an account to use core free tools. We do not ask for payment card details on the free audit flow. Do not submit passwords, API secrets, or personal data belonging to third parties into our tools.
We use personal data to:
Legal bases (UK/EU): performance of a service you request; legitimate interests (security, analytics, improvement) where balanced against your rights; consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies); legal obligation where applicable.
When you submit a URL, our systems fetch publicly available page content to generate a report. That content may include text, metadata, and structured data from the target page. We process this to deliver the audit to you. Optional llms.txt scanning uses the same secure fetch path with strict limits described on the llms.txt generator page. Browser-only tools such as the Robots.txt Generator and XML Sitemap Generator do not send your draft content to our servers. We may retain URLs and derived technical results for a limited period for caching, abuse prevention, and service quality, unless we state otherwise in-product.
You should only audit URLs you are authorised to test. We are not responsible for your compliance with third-party site terms.
WebFixer is not affiliated with Google. Advertisers are responsible for their own ad content.

We do not sell your personal data.
Data may be processed in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, United States, or other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers outside your region.
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No online service is completely secure; use the Services at your own risk for highly sensitive information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also complain to a supervisory authority (for example, the ICO in the UK).
To exercise rights, contact us. We may need to verify your request.
The Services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
