This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on WebFixer.dev, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
On this page
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. They can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or “persistent” cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them).
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
We do not use cookies to sell personal data. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies such as analytics and advertising.
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8QZ3Q6C399) to collect aggregated statistics about Site usage. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner (or enable Analytics in Cookie settings). Google acts as a processor/service provider under its analytics terms. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates.
Google Analytics may set cookies such as:
We configure Analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary personal data where possible (for example, we do not use Analytics to collect form fields you submit into audit tools as “custom events” unless we explicitly document otherwise). IP addresses may be processed by Google; you can learn about Google’s practices at Google’s Privacy Policy and opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We may use Google AdSense or related Google advertising products to show ads on WebFixer.dev. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to:
Common advertising cookies set by Google may include identifiers such as __gads, __gpi, and IDE (names and lifetimes can change). For details, see Google’s cookie information and How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.
You can control personalised ads at Google Ads Settings. Where we show a consent banner, you can accept or reject advertising cookies before they are set.
Google Search Console (GSC) is a service we use as the operator of WebFixer.dev to monitor how our property appears in Google Search (queries, indexing coverage, sitemaps, and similar reports). GSC is accessed by us through a Google account; it is not the same as Google Analytics and typically does not place analytics cookies on your browser when you simply browse our public pages.
We may verify site ownership using a meta tag or DNS record supplied by Google. That verification tells Google we control the domain; it does not by itself track individual visitors on our behalf. Search performance data in GSC is aggregated and subject to Google’s terms.
Some cookies are essential for the Site to function (for example, load balancing, security, or storing a cookie-consent choice). These do not require consent under many privacy laws because they are needed to provide the service you request.
You can control cookies in several ways:
Blocking all cookies may affect Site functionality. Blocking analytics cookies will not prevent you from running free audits in most cases.
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add tools, change analytics providers, or update legal requirements. Check the “Last updated” date when you visit.
